This policy explains what personal data product-addons.com collects, why, and what your rights are. The site is operated by u2code (u2code.com), Lviv, Ukraine (“we”, “us”).
What we collect, and why
When you buy a license
Checkout is operated by Freemius, our merchant of record. To process the order and issue your license, Freemius collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details, and shares the order and license information (not your full payment details — we never see those) with us. See the Freemius privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
When you contact us
The contact form collects your name, email address and message so we can reply. Submissions are stored on this site and in our support mailbox.
When you browse this site
We use only the cookies needed for the site to function, and no advertising trackers. If we introduce analytics, this policy will be updated to name the provider first.
The plugin itself
The U2Code Product Addons plugin does not send data from your store to us. Customer input collected through addon fields — text, files, choices — is stored in your own WordPress database and uploads folder, under your control. License activation checks are handled by Freemius and transmit the license key and site URL, nothing about your customers.
Legal bases
We process purchase data to perform our contract with you, support messages because you asked us to respond (legitimate interest / consent), and accounting records to meet legal obligations.
How long we keep data
- Order and license records — for as long as your license exists, plus the retention period tax law requires.
- Support conversations — for as long as they are useful for helping you; you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Sharing
We share data only with the services needed to run this business: Freemius (checkout and licensing), our email provider, and our hosting provider. We never sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to a use of it. Email support@product-addons.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it on this page and update the date above.
